AFL Campaign Manager Workshop

APPLICATION FORM - DEADLINE: Friday, August 14, 2015

We are excited to announce another training opportunity for our members! We will be running two workshops in Calgary on specific campaign skills (Campaign Manager and Voter Contact Organizer). The reason for such short notice is that we want to offer members a platform to educate and engage in the upcoming by-election in Calgary.

Please complete and return the APPLICATION FORM to afl@afl.org or fax to 780.484.5928 by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, August 14th in order to be eligible to participate – space is limited and not all applicants will be accepted.*

Campaign Management: AUGUST 19 – 23, 2015
Learn the specific skills required to manage any campaign – political, issues-based, awareness campaigns, organizing drives etc.  This course is open to anyone with sufficient previous experience in formal campaigning who is looking to expand their skills and take a leadership role directing a campaign.

Hours
The school is scheduled to run from 9:00 a.m. on the first day until the early afternoon of the last day. Participants are expected to be available to attend the entire duration of the school.

Participants should be prepared for instructional and practical training in a campaign environment, including extended hours each day for the duration of the school.

Cost
Attendance and lunch at the workshops are free of charge. Travel, per diem, or any
other associated costs are the responsibility of the individual and/or their sponsoring union.
