The AFL's Education Committee is responsible for overseeing a wide range of events and programs aimed at providing union members with the skills they need to be more effective union activists. In particular, the Committee organizes the AFL's Annual School and the AFL Kids' Camp. The Education Committee also makes efforts to promote labour education in Alberta schools.
