The AFL Human Rights and International Solidarity Committee supports the labour movement's ongoing global struggle for trade union rights and freedoms, economic and social justice, human rights and political freedoms. The Committee monitors the impact of global economic changes on the labour movement, workers and the poor. With approval of the Executive Council, the committee organizes events and disseminates information on a wide range or social justice issues.
