Labour Economic Monitor

Alberta Statistics for Working People

Labour Economic Monitor is a quarterly update of key economic and wage indicators produced by the Alberta Federation of Labour staff. It is designed to offer a quick look at key economic trends in Alberta important to working people. It tracks average weekly earnings, wage settlement patterns, and the inflation rate. It also looks at key indicators that affect the Alberta economy, such as oil and gas prices and unemployment rates.

It also offers insightful analysis of the numbers, to help workers make sense of the statistics. Labour Economic Monitor is a valuable tool for unions at the bargaining table, workers looking for a fair deal at work, or for students and researchers looking for the latest economic statistics.

A wealth of information, all in one place.
